Every once in awhile I send this out - just in case.....

I pulled this engine out of my '69 Camaro:
TO216CTX - Which is a '70 350HP 396 (402) with MT
Partial VIN 171389 built Feb. of 1970.

I hope to reunite it with the car. The car most likely originated in the Chicago/Northern Illinois area.

The 3rd owner pulled the original engine from my car around 1978 to rebuild it, and it was stollen from the alley behind his garage. This engine was put in its place, but he could not remember where he got it from.

Does anyone out there have a Midwest '70 L34 car missing its original block? I realize there were aprox. 50,000 '70 Chevelles equiped with this engine, but I figure I'd give it a shot.

Kind Regards!

Keith

Just making my anual "bump" for this post.

I just think it would be a good story if I was ever able to reunite it with the car.
