I can't find a way to delete a post. I can go to EDIT and delete the contents, but I can't find a way to just delete the whole post, for example if a double post has been made.

go to edit & click the box that says 'delete' in the lower right corner

or

edit then edit again (lower one) & check the 'delete message' box.

It depends on the post. If it's the first post then the ability to delete it is not available as doing so would delete all the replies. Of course this doesn't help if it's only a duplicate so that's what your friendly moderator can zap.

We changed this a few years ago when some guys deleted their question and took out 2 pages of great replies with it. Now, only replies can be deleted.

Hope that explains it a bit further.

How about making it to where a post can be deleted if there are no reply? Is that possible?
