Is there a part number located on the inner fenders, fenders, hood, doors and trunk lid? If so where are they located? I know how to tell the difference in the goodmark hoods by looking at them. I have not took a good look at the fenders, is there a similar way to tell?
I am sure a few would like to know this.

there are part numbers on all GM parts. were they are I don't know. some metal parts may have had the part numbers on paper stickers that could have been removed at one time.

I have seen the NOS parts with the GM stickers on them. I have seen the numbers stamped into the core support and that is why I was asking about the other parts.

[70 chevelle ss 396/454]

I have quite a collection of nos sheet metal fo 70 chevelles.my stuff is about half and half.some have stamped p/n-dates all have stickers.have 4 nos rear outer wheel houses two are stamped two are not.Two sets of nos front fenders one set from 1976 one set from 1981 and one set is stamped the other is not.have one and a half sets of rear quarters(that rt side is so hard to get)and only one quarter has stamp the other two are stickers.nos set of rockers with no stamps.And last but not least a rear body panel(behind bumper)with a stamp.Hope this helps.
