i am reinstalling the muncie in my car and do not remember how the linkage was ....(shoulda took a picture) the levers that attach to the side cover are different, one is shorter and has an angled slot...I put that one forward and the longer straight one rearward...is that correct?

They should have the same overall length and same slot configuration so you have the same throw in your 1-2 and 3-4 shifts.

I have another shifter that is the same...did i get them mixed up ? does it matter if thet are straight or angled...meaning is one better than the other? I posted two pictures in the showroom (can't get them to link in this new format) could you please look and let me know which type is correct. thanks
