install new inner fender wells. My car has a plastic one on one side and a metal one on the other. The plastic one is deformed at the bottom and a couple of the screw hole are pulled through. Thanks

No, I removed the inners from my 70 Chevelle before I pulled the fenders. Plan on putting on the way I took 'em off. Go slow when your remount the new ones, don't tighten until all the bolts are started.

I use an old sheet or blanket draped over the inner while I work it up into the fender well. Once positioned, pull back a portion of the covering and insert a bolt. Once you have a few bolts in, you can pull the sheet out completely. Helps to avoid scratching the freshly painted inner...
