looking to buy a 65 4dr parts car for front clip items (i know they are the same) and trunk lid. After reviewing some pics it "appears" the 4 Dr trunk lid is the same size as a coupe and convertible. Can anyone confirm?
I do have a trunk lid with my 64 parts car but i did not want to hassle with it due to the different trim holes between the two years. Thanks.

Hi Ed,
Yes, the 65 Trunk Lid is the same for coupe, convertible and 4 Door. The 300 Lid will fit as well, but the trim holes are different.

Also a wise choice not to use a 64 lid on a 65 unless you have to. In addition to trim hole locations on the outer skin, the inner panel is totally different on the rear portion. The access holes are in different locations, which makes it very difficult to get tools onto the nuts for the 65 trim after you move all the holes in the skin!
