I'm running a brand new HEI on my 402 and noticed today that I have an intermittant miss (at idle, and cruise rpm)on a couple of cylinders. I used a timing light on each wire and found that a couple of them will not fire every once and awhile. Plug wires are new, HEI is new, and I ran a 12V source from the fuse box. I'm at a loss at where to even start solving this. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Was it missing before you performed these upgrades? Did you set the timing to spec? Without a scope you have to check everything manually.
