just got the new door panels for the 67. my question is- there are no screw holes in them. do i just put the arm rest on and center the panel on the door and drill new holes through the panel and the metal behind it? (im assuming this is how its done, the old ones are on with screws) or do they require a clip from the back of the panel? if they require clips where do i get them from ? thanks Dave

I think I put the old panel back to back with the new one and used a very small drill to start a hole. That was a year ago so I'm kind of guessing. Are you sure there isn't small circles on the panel to cut out? An Exacto knive works great for trimming anything.

John. the old panels were home made, and the pits for sure. they were held on with several different size screws. ive got several hole in the door and not sure witch is the correct holes. also there are inserts in the door (3 in the front and 2 in the back) for clips. the new panesl have holes for the clip but no holes for screws. im kinda at a lose here. thanks dave

as for the screw holes on bottem of panels .. I took framing nails (kind with two heads) cut them 3/8 long ground off both ends .. one sharp the other just removed the head leaving a stop in the middle (second head) then held they in place in the screw holes with a peice of tape to the door frame ... install door panels PRESS on to the pins you've made out of the nails.. remove door panels .. now you KNOW where to drill the holes for the screws
