Installing door panels

Quick question, folks. I'm about to install new door panels in our '71. I got the watershields because that seemed to make sense. Unfortunately, the car I'm working on had no watershields behind the door panels (probably why they need replacing, huh). The question is, how do the watershields mount? do they glue to the backs of the panels or what? THANKS!

Brandon,
The watershields are taped to the door itself with what amounts to black masking tape. My Chevelle, which I bought new in '70, still has the original watershields and thats how they're held on.
