Was just wondering if our cars were positive or negative switching?

Also, with these units, will the wipers 'hide' or 'park' each time it cycles?

I'm also a little confused as to whether I should wire the switch on the engine side of the firewall, or under the dash. The wires under the dash are almost completely unaccessable without major dissasembly, but the wires under the hood are more confusing. I have a 3-terminal connector, where the middle connector is wired to the ignition (hot if key is turned), but can't figure out what the other 2 are. The motor has 2 wires going to it, I suppose these are the high/low?

Thanks for any help!

Wipers are negative switched. What kind of unit are you thinking about putting in? I found some old aftermarket piece but doesn't work well because of the park feature.
Search on BobM (s) name. He put up a detailed wiring/operation post. Should be of help.

It's a JC Whitney piece, feels really good quality, I can hide the box behind the dash (only having the knob stick thru), and delays from 1-20 secs.

I had no luck searching for BobM's post. Wonder if the search engine is up to speed yet?

It came with wiring diagrams, I just figured I'd get a head start instead of having to probe around to figure out which type of system it is (pos or neg switched).

Thanks for your help!
