I have an incomplete Edelbrock Pro-Flo for SBC.
Bought on CL a couple years ago.
I have everything that attaches to the manifold but no computer, distributor, harness, or fuel pump.
Guy who took it off the wreck did not know he needed those parts too.
When this unit was made Eddy was still using batch injection.
Now they have upgraded to sequential injection.
The parts are available from Eddy to complete my system but the price is nearly as high as simply buying a complete new kit, so no real savings.
With winter coming I need to decide how to either complete this unit or what it's worth to sell or trade.
It looks like I should be able to use the latest MegaSquirt 3 system and additional necessary components for around $800, maybe less.
Cheaper if I just use batch injection and an MS-2.
Others that might be easier or less expensive?
One guy I know claims I can just wire up a factory Chevy control but has nothing to back that up.
Thinking I might put this on my truck for improved mileage and drivability.
The '68 El Camino is remaining "Old School" as long as possible.
Suggestions?
