When goods are imported from different countries are they required to mark them where there from? I was jus sitting here looking at some air couplings i bought from harborfreight that say made in china... I mean why else would they put that on there? Maybe china is really proud of the things they make? You know like here if it says made in usa ofcourse we like to see that... And what do you think the chineese are thinking in there country when they see something that says made in usa? "peice of crap usa made garbage"

When the Chinese see "Made in USA" they think how they can make that part. It has to meet 2 guidelines.
1. Look like the original part, doesn't have to function like the original part.
2. Whats the cheapest way to make it.

Yes, every part has to be marked now. The laws changed a few years ago. Before that, there could have been a box of 1,000 pieces of something and all they had to do was through a piece of paper in the box that said "Made in China". No every part needs marked.
