Go by ANY school in your area, around here there's cars all the way down the street idling for drop off and pick up times.. Then they idle through starbucks and chikfila afterwards.
I did sign the petition.

Careful how loud you talk about these things, Big Brother is always listening. We already have those car brands that shut themselves off when stopped, and restart when you need to go (like at a stoplight).... and every brand is pushing some type of EV which will be the end of the V8/long tube header/axle dump cars we love.....
I saw a study on CO2 ..if the US would have zero CO2 emmisions it would only cut the worlds CO2 emissions by 1 Percent.
Folks idling their cars in line waiting for a cup of coffe must put 10,000X or MORE CO2 into the atmopsphere than racers/ enthusiasts do.
BAN DRIVE THRUS! You can only idle in line if you are getting a meal. Seriously.
I don't understand..Isn't that what he is talking about?

I don't know that I've ever seen a vehicle idling waiting on a cup of coffee myself but like I said it's not about vehicles idling or Co2, It's about vehicles running around after their owners installed devices that defeat the EPA anti pollution mandates on them.

Not in my state Dean. Emissions tested and visually inspected every year. They even made me turn on my windshield squirters on my 68 but luckily no emissions on cars older than 20 years.. The nerve of them, made my Chevelle wet

Just a pet peeve of mine. Remember years back when we sent our sons and daughters to defend the Kingdom and their oil we thought we so desparetly needed; thats when I got a hardon about cushy types wasting ozs of gas to get ozs of jo.
They should have gone and pounded sand for a bit for the privilege of being so wasteful.
And YES I wasnt so critical during the pandemic when "drive thru" lines were how you got take out food everywhere only. The youth DEFINTELY forgot how to cook. That's for sure. Natural consequence of momma being more in the boardroom than the kitchen I guess; we men be too lazy to take up the slack.

Our air is getting cleaner by the day. The footprint we make as old car hobbyists is microscopic in volume when compared to politically correct forms of environmental pollution.

Traveled the word for almost 30yrs. We are by far NOT the worst. Remember, items are made cheap by cheap countries. They have no EPA regulations or any other regulations on manufacturing. And there isn't a country that will tell them to stop.
And you don't even want to know where and how much of your food actually comes from.
