I hate to bring up the downside. Remember, a restoration will cost 400% more $ than you plan, unless you are already a qualified mechanic and body person.
Have fun, but there are pitfalls, especially ordering restoration parts - many which are produced in Asia are are far from original in fit and look.
Always best to come here first to ask how such and such a part has fit for others.
