Believe it or not, several years ago I bought a choke coil at Napa, Genuine parts.
Have you tried a dealer? This is not usually an older obsolete part. Your may not find the exact original as far as spring tension goes, but should find one that will fit in size. You just may have to play around with the adjustment of it to get it set right.
I got one a couple of years ago from a local Bumper to Bumper store (not sure if it was a bumper to bumper part because they carry many lines of stuff). Even if you can't find one for your exact application, I believe the connecting rod is usually the part that varies from app. to app.
