Hey everyone,
I just got my 1971 half cloned SS. I have to go to Ohio and pick it up this weekend. I've wanted a Chevelle for at least 8 years now and with my steady job I can actually write the check for a starter car. I look forward to having fun and meeting people!!

I know that it looks nice for a "starter" but that is because it just got a paint job. It definatly needs some TLC on the inside. It also has four manual drum brakes and a cracked front window. Powered with a 350/TH350). However, these issues made it affordable for me (9,100). I think I got an alright deal.

I think you did too! Good choice and welcome. I'm a bit puzzled about the description "71 half cloned SS". The parking lights and grille are from a '72. Is that what you meant?

I never noticed the front bezel being a 72. I know that is a diffrence between a 71 and 72 but I forget which one is which. It was sold as a 71. I said half clone because the outside is cloned, but the inside is clearly not been changed. It has the one big spedo and bench seats with a column shifter. That is what I ment by half cloned.
*Just found out that it was a 72 SS grill put onto a 71*
