Just got done with placing all the engine and instrument panel wiring harnesses on my 70. Pos (+) side (ignition) wire of coil terminal all the way to firewall connector gets real hot to the point of almost melting when inition turned to ON. Short somewhere? Looked at wiring diagram in assy manual, checked the wiring however I cannot figure out what is grounding out. Any suggestions on what the problem may be? Worked fine before I began ground-up restoration.

Notice he said when turned to ON, I was working on my 66 a couple of years ago and left the ign switch in the On position and my wire harness got so hot it burned my hand  try the switch in the acc position, that should solve the problem.
