My iTunes haven't been added to for a while and I need some new music.

I have a very eclectic "Library" (everything from classical to whatever) so if you have some really great tunes I should check out, post them here with links to the legal, pay-for download. :D

Try Silver Travis they are a band out of Spartanburg SC. Hogleg which is a band out of Jasper Georgia. You may be able to listen to them through www. NatesMusicRoom.com
They are a great blues rock band. We actually got to see them live again last weekend. We saw Silver Travis again a few weeks prior. These are both our new favorite bands.

I like to visit the local library and see what cd's they have. African music is pretty upliftiing as it seems full of life. Borrow a stack of cd's that you never heard of and give them a play. It is an inexpensive way to broaden your horizons.

Yeah, Buddy. I do it all the time. I listen to XM radio all day at work, I listen to ESPN until lunch then it's all tunes. I hear some interesting stuff that way then I write it down and look for them at the library. It's so easy becasue I go online and reserve the stuff. The library emails me when it comes in from another branch and I pick it up on the way home.

I get on these kicks. It was Beatles for a while, then Chicago, this week it's Iron Maiden. Who knows what it will be next week.

try dispatch and kings of leon. You can search them on youtube.
Fred,
Staind is a great band. That is if you like the new rock/nu-metal.

Ethan
If you like whiney singers that you can't understand what they are saying.....go for it.

What do you like to listen to? There is so much out there that is great music but never gets any commercial radio airplay it's pretty sad.

Check out:

Band of Skulls
Halestorm
Kaiser Chiefs
The Fratellis
Arctic Monkeys

Check out this online station based out of Philadelphia. They play some pretty good stuff...

for something completely different, go to youtube, search on Perpetuum Jazzile, bring up their cover of Africa by Toto. Make sure you get one of the HQ versions. It starts out real slow/quiet, turn it up.

I'm also a Dream Theater fan...

The BEST new music I'm enjoying now is Avenged Sevenfold. Very progressive, with a metallic touch and some theatrical darkness. Most excellent when driving fast...

Another band I'm digging is Skindred. I like reggae, and I like metal. Skindred is both, done very well. Sounds odd, but it really works...worth a listen!
