Where can I pick up a sending unit for my gas guage and emergency break cable for my 66 Malibu? I have been told they are hard to find. Anybody make reproductions or aftermarket replacements?

For my 69 Chevelle, the Chevy dealerships carry the sending unit still.

Not sure bout the brake cable but I bought a sending unit for my 65 chevelle from Year One.

Check Hemmings Motor News, if u see nothing there look in the Chevelle parts for sale ads for a place called Hugheys Chevelle Ranch in N Carolina, he has EVERYTHING not cheap mind u but he does have it, Good Luck L89SEDAN

You can get emergency brake cables at Inline Tube ((800) 385-9452. You should be able to find used ones without too much trouble. Just check for frayed cables.
