I'm a fan of 69/70 full size Chevy cars (and many other years). I had a 70 Impala up North and it was a great $100 car. It looked like the last one in the pics in the link.

I sold the motor for what I paid for the car after driving it for a few years, and after my 'friend' carnapped it for a few months.

I'd love to find a 2 door, and do a big block manual trans reinterpretation of the 427 4 speeds of the era. Or a 65/66 for a more industrial vibe...

As I see it 69 Impalas are worth about $8000-$10000 done. $2000 is about right for the condition they are in, but not when you are buying 21 of them, it would have to be much closer to $1000 each for it to be worthwhile especially after you cover moving them out of the current location and covering the cost of a new place to store them. Even then I am not sure you would end up making much money all said and done.

Cool collection. I hope the next owner doesnt part the cars out and keeps or sells them as projects. You dont hear people restoring these cars very often. My only complaint here would be that its too bad there isnt at least one 396 or 427 car in the group.
