first off I have a 350 in my 70. It is a GMPP long block, with an Edelbrock performer intake. And I have water in my oil, and an oil leak from the back of my intake, so far I have had my intake off five times trying to fix it and I need help. Thanks

I don't know how you did your rear and front intake seals but I very seldom use the rubber seals. I use a large beed of silicone and let it sit till it is has a tacky skin on it. I then set the manifold down and start all the bolts let it sit for a couple hours. I then torque it how ever you normally do. I also put a very thin skin coat of silicone around each of the coolant passages on the heads, put my bead of silicone down, and then place my gaskets into the silicone beads. I then place a skin coat of silicone on the manifold gasket around each of the water ports. I then set the manifold down and start all the bolts let it sit for a couple hours. I then torque it how ever you normally do. The key is to make sure that all surfaces are clean. I use spray brake cleaner wipe it with paper towel and spray again.
