For those of you that know the history, my car had the 307 mounts on, and I am going to a big block. I have heard different opinions, but the concences were that I had to change the mounts to BB mounts.

I ordered them from our sponsor here, and they arrived within a week. These ones put the mounting hole further closer to the cross member substansiouly.

Someone gave me some instructions how to do it, and it was easy. I did it with the 14 year old son of my friend in 30 minutes for both!

Don't remember who send me the instructions, but thank you very much, it worked great.

I have my BB motor out right now and am seriously thinking of changing out my 307 mounts. I have witnessed first hand the reasons NOT to use the wrong mounts.

Could you relay that information you got to me?!?

It would be much appreciated. and for FYI, what was the total sticker price on that? Did you cut off the old bolts? If so, did the new mounts come with bolts?
