Just accepted a new job. So much for taking the summer off.
I'll be one of three set up/operators of CNC screw machines and milling centers.
It's kind of funny that the only other time I was unemployed, I interviewed and accepted a job at this same company back around 1993. Once I went home and did the math, I realized he was paying less than unemployment so I told him I had to keep looking.
Now he's only paying a bit more than unemployment but he split the cost of health insurance with me so it's better than I was doing at my previous job.
Except now I'll actually have to WORK for a living.
It's going to be hard getting up at 5 to be in work for 6 but it's a 4 day week so I think I'll manage.
