Hey everyone,
I have a retro fit hydro roller now. I am going to increase the cam size but wondering if anyone knows of a good company or a place to look for a new cam. I know as well as anyone else, jegs, summit, northern, speedway. Looking for hydro roller sbc mid .500's lift, gobs of duration and an operating range of 3000-7500 or somewhere close... Any input would be awesome...

I dont think your going to get a Hydraulic roller to spin to 7500 without valve float. Im not an expert, but people go through considerable trouble to get them to pull to 6500 and thats with Rev kits, bee-hive springs, lightweight retainers, the exact dial in spring pressure to control the cam and still not pump up the lifters, lighter weight valves, and a myriad of other things im forgetting. If you need that kind of RPM go with a solid flat tappet or a Solid Roller.

well I can rev it to 7000 now but the power band falls off about 5900-6000... I just need one that gloats more top end power. Trick Flow makes a .558-.558 Hyd Roller that is 3000-6800 but its $265.00... What would be a good solid tappet???

You can get a hyd roller to spin that high and make power. . .some classes in Heads Up racing have limitations that we must turn these engines that high to make power. To do this though takes very expensive parts and not $200 hyd roller cams.
