Here is my current combo with a small Isky hydraulic flat tappet .535 lift [email protected] .050 both intake and exhaust.
1970 Chevelle SS all steel body
TH 400 trans w/11" TCI nitrous converter flashes to 2500
3.31 12 bolt with a posi,air bags and Lakewood hop stop bars
Currently 245/60/14 BFG TA's (no traction what so ever) will go to drag radials probably in a 275/60/15 size on vintiques SS wheels
probably will be putting 3.73's in it with the tire change
car is for street/strip and cruising
454 .060 over
TRW .095 dome forged piston
Scat 7/16 capscrew 4340 6.135 rods
Scat 4.00 stroke cast steel crank
Edelbrock performer oval port aluminium heads 290cc port 110cc camber 2.19/1.88 valves
Edelbrock performer RPM intake w/1" open spacer
Speed Demon 750 carb
2" primary 3 1/2' collector headers
DUI Hei ignition
Comp 1.72 roller tip rockers (so I can use stock chrome valve covers)
valve springs are 135lb seat 350lb over the top and will handle .620 lift
looking for a cam to rev no more than 6000, run my power brakes and give me a little more than the Isky,may go to a solid lifter cam if necessary.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
