I have a 69 chevelle. I am putting 15x7 on front and 15x8 or 15x10 on back. What is the widest tire I can run without cutting the wheelwell or mods on susp. I want 295x50 if they fit and what bs do I need? Thank you:thumbsup:
I just put BFG 325/50 street drag radials on 10" ralley's with 5.5" backspace. I drove about 3-4 miles for a quick check and it looks good. But the car came with stiff rear springs and is sitting high. Next will be to take the springs out and lower the car to check fender clearance. I'd like to get a little bit softer springs.
There are 295/50/15's on 5.5 bs in my sig. I'd like to see a pic of 305's or 325's on a car that isn't jacked up in the rear. I think I'd have enough room, the 295's fit no problem.
I had 15x10 with 5" backspace and a rolled lip and a 295/50 tire on a 69 chevelle. with passengers in the car I would rub a little on dips. 15x10 with 5.5" backspacing would of fit perfect in my case. almost forgot it is lowered 2" in the back.
