I have a th350 in my car and its leaking by the speedo cable again. I have never seen such a problem spot for leaks. I have bought 3 new speedo bullets and put numerous o-rings on. It;ll stop for a while then start leaking again. WHy is this such a problem spot for leaks. Anyone else have this many problems with it leaking. Anyone have any suggestions how to stop it from leaking for more then a month at a time?

Your putting new o-rings on the housing ,but what about the o-ring on the speedo driven gear itself ?

There is no o-ring on the speedo gear. It slides into the bullet and the bullet has a o-ring.
