i recently removed all my wiring harness from under my dash to include my fuse block. i need to start my engine to keep the seals from going bad. How do I jumper the Batt, coil and starter to do this? It is a 65 ekcamino with a 283.

If your distributor and coil are still in place you need to do 2 things. Run a jumper lead from battery + to coil +. With a screwdriver jumper starter/solenoid B+ (large cable) to solenoid "S". Should be able to steal any car. Watch yourself under there. Keep trans in park and e-brake on. Watch your fingers.
Car won't shut off until you remove the coil jumper.

With 12 volts directly to the positive side of the coil for too long, points will burn up.
You could go to the auto parts store and get a ballast resistor to put into the wire running from the battery to the coil.
Your 64 has "resistance wire" going to the positive side of the coil that drops the voltage.
