My computer has a C drive with 13.9GB and a D drive with 166GB. I have moved as much from C to D as I can. I am tired of the low disk space message, what is the best way to get rid of a few GB's of programs? Any feedback on Partition Commander 10?
Have you uninstalled all the programs you don't want/need? After uninstalling the programs you don't want, I'd run the disk cleanup utility, and use it to empty the recycle bin, dump temp files etc. After that, defrag it.
Go to desktop, right click My Computer, select properties. Click the Advanced tab, Performance Settings, Advanced tab again, Virtual Memory, Change. Move the page file system to your D drive.
You can also go to C:\Windows. All the $NTUninstall..... folders are for uninstalling Windows updates. Many of them may be years old and there is no way you will be uninstalling those updates. It's not a ton of space but some.
