It is supposed to be hooked to the protruding pin that is hidden in the pic behind the hole that is above the arrow point...
how to attach kickdown linkage to carb?
hi, can anyone tell me how this piece the arrow is pointing to connects to the carb? I previously had this attached to a 2 barrel carb, but now it's 4 barrel and i'm not sure how to attach. thanks!

There is a larger area in the kick down near the back of the slot.
this is slipped over the nub ...sometimes this needs hooked up before you bolt the carb down as there is not enough room or slack to pull the kickdown foreward enough to loop it over the nub..
SO loop it over the nub before you position the carb on the intake to be bolted down

The hole with the plastic gromet is for the return springs
I could be wrong. it has been 25 years since i dealt with that kickdown arm...as the slot in yours looks quite thin or narrow..
could be just the way the picture was taken....
see if it slips over it...
