I just realized I welded a patch panel with stainless mig wire. I'm a novice to body work. I should have known when I was having so much trouble with the damn thing. Now I have a whole seam thats ugly. I welded in a quarter panel patch, behind the rear wheels.

move on and forget about it.

I always say, these were mass produced cars. Perfection was never anywhere near the picture.

It wouldn't hurt to throw some seam sealer on the backside to prevent moisture from getting under your paint through any pin holes. Other than that, grind it down and call it a learning experience.

If you have the time and money..order new panel and go again.

Its just more practice in the learning process.....we all screw up,get over it,move on.

Your choice...........I won't tell anyone.........it will be a great ride what ever you do.
