Does anyone know how many 1970 ls5 convertibles were made or aprox..... thanks ps took my ls5 out for the first time after a long one year full restoration ,at every red light I got a thums up made all those hours worth while I had coups in the past so the first ride with the top down was just awesome my kids loved it. To hear that cowl ind. howl is great, well dont mean to get off subject I am still to excited about that first ride Shawn w

I estimate only about 90 were built (1970 LS5 convertibles). For every real one there is probably 3 or 4 clones (maybe more).
Quite a rare vehicle if you have the documentation !

Shawn-hope to see you next year at the mid-atlantic show in North East MD. Only about an hour's drive for ya!

Know what you mean-getting mine out of the shop-people were freaking out over the car. Too cool!!!
