Soon we will be gluing the roof. I have about 8 various vice grip clamps I have been using to work on the quarters but I will need more on the roof. I only have one so far that will fit in the rail (reg tips).

So - any hints of how many I will need. I am thinking 4 on each side of the roof - so 16? I'll weld the corners in but glue in the rails - front an back.

Sound right - more? Less?

If you have tough spots where you cant get a clamp self drilling screws work just fine.I think there better in that once you get the panel fitted exactly where you want it you can remove it and reinstall it and the holes for the screws will align it to exactly where you had it before you took it off.

do a dry run and figure it out....4 per side doesnt seem like enough
