My health did play into effect, I need to start thinking future wise. Tired of the endless BS and seeing people with no knowledge decide how much my paycheck is

No doubt that jounreyman license would be top notch and a great addition to the resume. But most places Ive talked too and even this gov job, just want the cert. The government job contracts most of the work out, but yet they would want me to be HVAC certified.
Later down the road, that license would be great, but right now just the cert will work, hopefully.
My background is electrical, PLCs, VFDs etc, I know enough about HVAC to get me in trouble
