I dont believe you would need to go back to get another degree or anything since its "certification" and that word (being in the computer world) to me means you train, you test, you pass = certified
If you go to google and type in HVAC certification you will get a TON of info. I was bored, did it for you but too damn lazy to post every link listed. The one above was at the top of the list.
