How did you find your 66 interior paint match ?

Looking for 724 medium blue, it's not as easy to find as exterior colors.

Is there a chart? or are restorers matching it by using a paint chip that is close?

Some of the medium blues I've seen, look darker than mine.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks Bob,

I was hoping to paint the interior metal first, before I redo/replace the cloth ( seats, dash out ).

I might wind up with a two tone interior though if I do this first.

In the searches I've done, most folks like myself wish there was a record of what to choose, but I suspose this doesn't insure that the new upholstery will match the old code.

Thanks for the advice.

What you need to do is find an unfaded spot on your dash that is removable under dash pad or in my case inside of glove box door and take to a paint supplier with computer matching equipment they then scan you part and create a formula and make some paint to do a spay out on .to get right color and gloss 66 was semi gloss lacquer .now use a base with flatener in the clear .takes time but it works
