I have a:

454 +.060
820 oval port heads, been mildly cleaned up
2.19/1.88 valves
Speed pro Hypers .300 dome
Weiand excellerator single plane (for now) manifold
mallory unilite dist.
MSD digital 6
Hooker Comp headers
3" exhaust w/ flowmasters
TH-350
3200 stall
3.73 rear end
Pretty much stock weight 69 chevelle

The part I need to know if it will work good is the cam I am thinking of sticking in it. I am thinking of going with the Lunati 402A5LUN and the valve train kit that matches it. The cam is 285/295 adv. 252/261 .050 .595/.595 lift 110/104

Is this cam a good match for the rest of the combo? I would like it to have somewhat decent street manners (rough idle I couldn't care less about), I won't be racing it all that much, (maybe a few passes per year).

Should I go ahead with it or do any of you recommend something diffrent? Please don't tell me to go roller right now, I am currently taking out a cast core comp roller and the endure-x lifters and it's not in the budget to go roller again right now.

Thanks guys, Jeff

Anybody else know if this will be a good cam to go with the rest of my combo? I would like to order this week, just looking for some help on cam choice.
