On a 69 Chevelle horn relay. How many wires get hooked to it? (Standard wiring). It is marked left front = Batt. Right front not marked. Bottom plugs are numbered 2-3-4
looks like this

Left Front=screw batt=red Right Front screw not marked=what color

#3 | what color?

#2 | what color? #4 | what color if used?

I think there is only 4 wires being used.
This post pertains to another post of mine. This might be where my problem is.
Thanks guys

I got the wires figured out.
Can the horn relay cause a charging problem? If so how can I bypass it or how to test it. There are no horns.

The relay should not cause a charging problem unless it is stuck in the on (horns honking) position, in which case it can drain the battery. The battery term is only used as a junction for power to the rest of the car and to provide power to the horns. Nothing inside of it is part of the charging system.
