1967 Chevelle - Put my steering column back in and hooked up the steering wheel, horn cancel cam with plunger, and all the other correct parts that go in there. The horn does not ring. Can someone instruct me on the best way to troubleshoot this - Im not good with electrical issues. I do have a test light. Where do I start?

It could be the horn relay -- what is the best way to test that part?
It could be something in the steering column -- hopefully it is not that!!
How do I know if my horns are getting power to them??? How do I test that? All my wiring in the car is new.
Horn relay is old - I did not replace it during the restoration. When I touch the test light to it the test light lites up.

any advice is appreciated -- thanks

What I would do is unplug the skinny black wire from the relay, take a short piece of scrap wire (preferably light gauge-flexible-stranded but anything will work) and touch one end to any good ground and the other end to that relay prong)

If it clicks, it should cause the green wire to send 12 volts to the horn then.

By the way, this is the wire that goes up through the steering column to the horn contact.
