1970 chevelle ,harwood hood on passanger side sits high, does any one make a shorter hinge, the factory has been cut down as for as it can go, 1/4 inch high still

Grind the hood bolt area? Otherwise sounds like your gonna have to fab something for it.

adjust the hinge down on that side.. if it's down as far as it will go, then make the slots where the hinge bolts to the fender longer.

If it is high in the back, you actually RAISE THE HINGE in the front and it will bring the hood down, you actually rotate the hinge, rather than raise it up and down. You can also shim the hood up on the hinge....put a shim between the hood and the hinge in the front.
