After driving the 64 "as-is" for 13 years with an attic full of new parts I decided to start trial fitting some of them. Reason is invitation to a private car show on 8-29 and wanting to quit having to explain I have the parts but haven't put them on. First photo shows existing, PO got drunk and boy friend decided it would be cool to mow down snow plow markers, 6 to be precise. She also had rearended some one. Next shows the hood leading edge bend, then the modification procedure for unbending the hood. Still not perfect but a lot closer, I got the technique from my Dad and Granddad that knew lots of ways to use 2x4's, 4 lb hammer and leverage to move tweaked panels.

I will post the after photos, did not get the bumper on last night. Bonus was finding that the new hood trim was a GM NOS part not reproduction.

What a wrestling match to get the bumper on. Turned out one end of the repro was stamped a little off, had a twist in it. Two bottle jacks, two pair vice grips, one c-clamp, one centering bar and some creative use of BFH and it was in, took about an hour and a half. At first I thought the frame was tweaked but now that its in looks fine. Tomorrow I clean up the turn signals and I'll post some photos.
