So on my 72 Elk, I'm not super familiar with these. The hood lines up great, left to rt and ft to back. Height is great too but when I raise the hood the left side rides over and hits the left fender in the back. I've tried shimming different ways but assume I have a bad hinge, thoughts..

Sent 3 sets of hinges to Willie this year. Excellent work. He did a set of 53 F100 door hinges and even bronze bushed them when they were originally not. His 67 Camaro lower hinges exceeded factory quality. Double bushed and bronze. Hood hinges excellent also.

Might have to give this a try. Hood looked pretty good until I put headlamp doors and grille on, holy gaping gaps Batman. Front of the hood is bowed left to rt, put the old hood back on and it fits like a glove.

Now I need a hood : /

This was a cowl Goodmark hood.
