It’s about time I do a small write up for my x-flow.

I used to run a Edelbrock E-Street 2

E-Street 2 Write-up

I always wanted a more advanced EFI setup for boost. My motor was suited for boost, so I wanted to build a fuel system that could support E85 to run boost without having to build a different motor.

Motor:
406 SBC
Forged pistons
10.5 CR
AFR 210 heads
255/263 solid roller cam
Weiand 177 supercharger (2.63” upper pulley and 6” lower) should be ~8 PSI

Fuel
Holley Sniper X Flow, supports 1350 HP under boost
1/2” fuel lines
Tanks Inc tank
Hyperfuel 525lph pump kit (large enough to support e85 demand volume)
Fuel It E85 sensor (I can see the e85 reading from my phone) - on the fuel return line
GM E85 sensor, plugged into the Holley sniper (the tune will adjust based on e85 content) -on the return fuel line
Using the hyperfuel fuel pressure regulator with return for the fuel line. The return line is before the TB fuel inlet (not sure if this is good)

Transmission: T-56 Magnum w/McLeod Twin Disc clutch rated for 1,200 horsepower

Rear diff: 12 bolt 3.31 Detroit tru track w/c-clip eliminators

I watched a few YouTube videos on how to tune for E85 and it was pretty straight forward. It starts right up and runs AMAZING! I haven’t taken it to the track with the new setup, but it should be fun. I need to clean up the engine bay some more, there’s so many wires!

Meant to say this motor was NOT suited for boost, sorry for the typo.

Here’s some more pictures:

I bought a 68 hood and cut a hole in it for $50, sucks my 2” cowl hood won’t work.
