I have a 3310 holley and the float bowls are set and steady looking through the site glasses BUT when holding throttle at a fixed position open I can see fuel dripping out of one of the main boosters in the primary venturi,(alot). What would cause this flooding?

Your getting way too much flow, hmmm. I'll take a stab, I'd check the power valve. Also isn't the vacuum signal different when reving the car in idle as opposed to under load on the track? Someone wiser than me can answer that question.

how big is the engine and what RPM are you holding it at?

It is on a 355 sbc with Vic JR, 250 @.050 solid lift circle track cam. It may be the power valve being a 6.5 and vac. at 1200 idle is 8''. If this doesn't help, what next. Oh yeah the throttle is held at about 2000 in neutral.

How bout a little carb cleaner gumout sprayed into the primary air bleeds.A restricted or clogged air bleed can and will affect timing and flow thru a single booster.,even atop a single plane manifold vs dual plane.

well, it's not related to the PV for sure.

as the RPM increases the boosters first drip, then dribble, then mist or spray. driving, the rpm changes faster than that, never see those stages. It would be a bummer trying to hang on to the fender anyway. :)

So, as mentioned, spray the air bleeds inside the choke horn, make sure none are plugged or blocked off. Then put the air cleaner back on and forget about it.

My Demon does this as well. Driver side primary booster starts before any others. Big drops at first. Seems normal...

At 2000 rpm it sounds like it is doing its job and starting to pull the fuel through the booster as intended.
Again, my Demon mains come in right before 2 grand. Have to say 1800 or so with looking down the carb and driving it. Wouldn't worry there...
