Why are you looking to drill them out? Are you talking the main jets, because drill size isn't the only thing that dictates jet size. If you check out the jet listing several jet sizes will have the same hole, but the entry and exit to the hole is different.

Why drill them ? They're cheap enough to buy which you may end up doing if you drill them wrong.
A friend wants something bigger than a 99. I figured the only way to do that is drill it out, or leave the jets out completely

This from Supertuning and modifying Holley carburator's.


If You drill out a Jet, You will be lengthening the the metering passage, and increaseing the amount of flow restriction. When this occurs, a larger-diameter drilled jet may flow less then a smaller standard jet.
