What sized fuse should I put on a Holley Blue fuel pump? The wire size looks like 12 ga. so fusing to the wire would be up to 20 amps (I think). But, what does Holley say the pump should be fused at?? Should I put a 15 in?

Somewhere on the data sheet/install instructions it should state the current draw. Pay attention if there is a "startup" rating as well. All electric motors draw a larger amount of current while starting up, then taper off to "running" amperage.

If it's not listed, do an experiment. Start with a 5, and go up in small increments. Stay with the lowest rated fuse that'll live, and possibly then go with a "Slow-Blo" type.

Thanks for the fuse sizes. I don't have any documentation on the pump (it's used). The slo-blo should get it past the surge current during start up. I put an in-line fuse holder on it so it'll be easy to start low and work up.
