please look at pic below at carb accelerator cable, which one of the stops should i use to attach accelerator pedal to.the lower one was attached when i first saw this, which should i use for hi po 350 eng 68 chevelle. has a s-t10 4 speed trans

There is a Turbo 350 with a Downshift cable and there is a Turbo 350 Lock up trans also that one looks like a downshift cable to me.

this is about what level should i attach the accelerator cable to,you see there are two positions,it came to me with lower stop attached, carb seems to slow respond with that position, i thought maybe the top position would make carb more responsive when pushing the gas. car is down right with eng being rebuilt.
