This may seem like a stupid question but, I am restoreing a basket case 68 chevelle, all wiper components are removed except the wiper transmission. How do I know if it had consealed or non hidden wipers?
Thanks in advance

Umm, if he doesn't have ANY of the wiper stuff then he might not be able to tell from that. If ALL yuo have is the transmission thing, you can go to ground up's website or catalog and it has a pic of a hidden an non-hidden. The non-hidden is smaller. Also, if you have the motor attached to the trans, the motor is a cylinder on the hidden and a cube on the non-hidden.

So a cylinder motor, and the second link on the driver side arm means that they are the hidden wipers? That's what I have on my 68, and they don't hide. Could this be the switch? Or maybe the arms weren't installed correctly? Thanks!

(Sorry for the hijacking.... :) )
