Hello all! I have the feeling that I will need quite a lot of help from the rest of you! I got suckered into rewiring my husband's "dream car" since he doesn't have much interest in electricity. I'm excited, but before two weeks ago, I didn't really know what a fuse actually did.
Our chevelle is a wiring mess, but the engine and body are in pretty good shape
I need any advice I can get!
I stay at home, but I have a toddler by my side all the time, so I can only work in short bursts. We don't have a garage. I need some help figuring out what things are the most important to keep in mind or do first.
I am replacing the glass fuse panel with a new one. I guess I need to focus on which engine components require an electrical connection (?), and I need to know which systems are dependent on other thingamajigs.
I don't know where to start, I have no friends who have the first idea about cars or wires....
I'm looking forward to sorting through this mess, even though it might not sound like it!
