Last I knew they don't sell the metal jack stands anymore after the fiasco they went thru with those. I haven't been back there since I got the refund for the jack stands I had bought from them.

They took back 4 of the 8 jack stands I bought there, 4 were pretty old and a different color than what they sell now so they said I didn't buy them there and I said I did but couldn't prove it so still have them but I think they dont have the colapsable feature lol

You should have broken them before you took them back and said they're defiantly yours. 😉

Whoever wrote the ad did a great job. Nailed it.
There are certain things I buy there. Mostly disposable things or things that I know I’m going to mis-apply and break. I also buy their 4” angle grinders because with a coupon there like $4.99. I’ve got 4-5 so I don’t have to change wheels all the time. When they smoke, I just chuck em. Less than the cost of a Big Mac.
But for my main tools, I prefer to spend a little more and get something that lasts.
And is less embarrassing to loan.

When I saw this, I laughed so hard I about pissed myself! Like most everyone else, I buy certain items there, but you have to understand the limitations of their tools. I have noticed in some cases just a SLIGHT upgrade in quality and attention to detail would make an exponential difference in their value and usefulness.

IMO they make great loaner tools who cares if you don't get them back or if they get broken, I recently bought a Viking battery charger at $59.xx but learned my lesson on the Pitsburg wrenches after the jaw of an open end 9/16ths went wizzing by my eye, I was using them for saddle bag wrenches but name brand yard sale/flea market wrenches are better, I haven't broke the torque wrenches yet and they did torque very close or close enough with my friends Snap On
